The Story of the shop
In 2020 I opend the brick and mortar Uncommon Exchange! What an amazing adventure and experience! I met and worked with so many amazing people in the town of Royersford and beyond. Didnt know all those people would play a part in helping me through one of the toughest part of my life. I cant express how much those almost 2 years meant to me and will for the rest of my life. After closing the doors of the brick and mortar I have to say I was beyond sad and did not have much confidence to continue the mission and the business. Because Uncommon exchange is my heart, the business cannot completely close . I have decided to try and Launch it online. I hope that you can try and support the local and world wide artists I have on my website. Everything is handmade and every sale is helping someone else in this world gain confidence, income and grow in their spirit and creativity. I will always have the passion in my heart and soul , which is the reason why I am relaunching UNCOMMONEXCHANGE !!! What makes us unique?
Uncommon Exchange is unique in that every item that you find in our inventory has a unique story. Some items are made from local crafters from our town of Royersford, PA. as well as all over the world. We work with a couple organizations that help women and children out of sex trafficking. These organizations help them get self sustained by selling their items to make a living which keeps them out of the dangers of getting sucked back in to the human trafficking world. Each item we sell has a individual purpose and goes back in to the world to help spread peace, love , encouragement.
